Green Commitment at City Color

At City Color we are committed to exploring new ways of making our manufacturing process and final product more sustainable without compromising the quality or integrity of our work. Here are just a few of the steps we’ve taken at City Color.

Internally we are actively reducing pollution in regard to air quality, liquid effluent, waste streams, storm water and other areas often beyond regulatory requirements. Throughout our 56,000 square foot facility we have also switched to energy efficient lighting as well as installed scrubbers (internal air purification systems), which eliminate the VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) that are released in solvent printing.

In addition to making City Color's workflow more sustainable, wherever possible, we suggest environmentally friendly printing solutions and material alternatives to our clients. We also offer 100% recyclable packaging materials and custom packaging to reduce waste. We are constantly researching and offering new solutions for our clients.

We are currently in the process of becoming certified as a Sustainable Green Printer.
